  • Please package the item securely. Ensure it is clean and that any added repairs or patches have been removed, so the garment is returned in its original fabric state, ready for recycling
  • We then collate recyclable garments before sending to our partner, LMB, who use textile to textile recyclers to convert them into new fabrics, helping reduce textile waste

Caring For Your Frugi
  • Wash Gently: Use delicate cycles for less friction.
  • Use Eco-detergent: Opt for non-biological eco detergent. Use eco fabric conditioners sparingly.
  • Hang To Dry: Hang your Frugi clothes up and out to dry, better for the environment and your Frugi threads.
  • Iron Inside Out: Iron clothing inside out, especially printed items.
  • Beware Of The Banana: Banana stains turn black and are hard to remove!

Avoid if your child is sensitive because the embroidery is not backed or lined, very itchy. I can"t return due to keeping to one side for a gift but unsure if it"ll be worn or not. "

Good morning, Unfortunately the backing normally used to soften an applique cannot be sourced organically and the application requires chemicals/glues so we do not use it. We do our best to work with the suppliers to use super soft thread and reduce stitch tension to make the appliqués as soft as possible, and we are always looking for a sustainable organic way to achieve the soft backing. If the item is in new condition with tags in please return this to us. Kind regards Frugi.
