Trail Blazing Backpack

I have an older version of the Trailblazing backpack, came here to get another one and I'm sad to discover the integrated rain cover (in my old one its stored in a zipped compartment on the base of the bag) isn't a feature any more - it's so useful, so a real shame that's gone.
Overall though the bag is really comfy and straps don't slip off my shoulders like lots of 'adult' bags. I initially bought it to use with kid stuff but it's now my work bag and fits a laptop etc nicely, also gets positive comments from my colleagues.

I bought this Backpack for my 6 year old son who started year two. He likes to carry a lot, library books, a coat, sometimes wellies etc. so we needed a roomy backpack. This is it and so much more! It is so sturdy and well made and we both love the penguin print. I also appreciate the reflectors on the straps. I want to same for myselft!

It"s a great bag but unfortunately we got a faulty one and no effort was made to rectify the situation. The cord stopper was stitched on inside out, pulling the fabric and wrapping it in a very short period of time. Check your product before accepting! "

Worth it in the sale. I was hoping to use this as an everyday bag but sadly won"t be enough to fit in nappy paraphernalia, wet weather stuff and lunch. It"s highly noticeable though "

This is an extremely well made bag and has many excellent features and pockets . My daughter uses it for secondary school as she has to carry a LOT of books . The one thing that needs to change is the way it opens from the top . It needs easier access so she can get at books etc quickly with a zip across the top and at the front . Currently looking for alternative for this reason as things are getting squashed up as she slides them to the top . Also the base of the bag needs to be water proof . I got this for my son who will start pre-school next year (so I bought a year ahead because I love the print). It"s big enough for an elementary/primary school child and it"s well made. Lots of pockets and places to put the necessities. I can"t speak to how well it wears but given my experience with children"s backpacks I can tell it will do great!"
