Giving back is in our DNA - right from the start, we wanted to show the world that you can create a great brand whilst upholding strong ethical and environmental values. And our Little Clothes BIG Change charity work is incredibly important to everyone here at Frugi. We are proud of alot of things we’ve achieved, but we are probably the proudest of the
£1 MILLION
we’ve donated so far to charities helping the environment and children around the world. That amount of money has made a BIG DIFFERENCE, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our customers – Thank you!

Neonatal Baby Bundle Donation to Royal Cornwall Hospital
This Giving Tuesday, we headed to our local neonatal unit at Royal Cornwall Hospital Truro for our annual donation of baby bundles. Lovingly wrapped by the team here at Frugi, these bundles are filled with super soft & snuggly organic cotton gift sets, ready to be gifted to the families staying on the neonatal ward this Christmas.
Clothes Donation to Royal Cornwall Hospital
With the amazing volunteers at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust, a few of us from Frugi HQ rolled up our sleeves to sort and re-box heaps of maternity, nursing, and baby clothes, ready to be re-distributed to maternity teams across Cornwall, hopefully bringing a little comfort and joy to mums and families who could use a little extra support.
Clothes Donations to Clemmie's Clothes
A little kindness goes a long way! We bundled up some maternity and adult goodies and sent them off to Clemmie’s Clothes. The team there worked hard to sort and categorise the styles by size and season, and they’ll be sent to baby banks across the UK to find new homes with families, ready to be worn and loved again!
Embracing Giving Back: Our Commitment
For us, volunteering isn’t just a checkbox, it’s an integral part of who we are. We believe in fostering a culture of empathy, compassion, and action. By immersing ourselves in volunteer work, we not only contribute positively to society but also learn, grow, and bring that positive energy back into our designs and workplace. Every year, our team members are encouraged to take volunteer days to support causes close to their hearts.
Design Inspiration through Volunteering
Creativity knows no bounds, and our design team finds inspiration in the act of giving. As part of their seasonal inspiration journey, our talented designers regularly engage in volunteering activities. Whether it's spending time at local sanctuaries, nurturing gardens, or collaborating with communities, these experiences enrich their creativity and directly influence our vibrant designs.
Plant 1
Plant 1 is a certified Community Interest Company that channels every penny donated directly into planting trees. They carefully assess sites to ensure trees restore native habitats and are planted responsibly to benefit nature and the wider environment.
Whale and Dolphin Conservation
For World Oceans Day 2022, we adopted Rainbow the Dolphin and her calf through Whale and Dolphin Conservation. This global charity works to protect whales and dolphins worldwide and safeguard marine life for future generations.
Save the Children / Ukraine
In March 2022 we donated £20,000 to Save the Children, supporting families facing crisis worldwide. We also sent clothing supplies including Frugi fleeces, waterproofs, reusable nappies and period pads to people in need in Ukraine.
Helen & Douglas House
Helen & Douglas House’s Supportive Stays project offers terminally ill children vital medical care while giving families much-needed respite. Parents can spend valuable time together or with siblings, knowing their child is safely supported.
Down’s Syndrome Association
These friendly, inclusive sessions support parents of babies up to 18 months and expectant parents preparing for their new arrival. Thanks to your support, we helped fund three Down’s Syndrome Association courses during 2022.
Square Food Foundation
Based in Bristol, Square Food Foundation runs a cookery school and community kitchen offering free in-person classes. Their Virtual Cooking Club also delivers DIY meal kits to local children and families who may struggle to attend activities.
Polbeth Community Hub
Located between Glasgow and Edinburgh, Polbeth Community Hub runs a community shop and fridge tackling food poverty locally. In autumn 2021 we supported their work helping families with young children access vital food and support.
Wild Things
Wild Things is an environmental education charity working across northern Scotland. They help build positive connections between communities and nature. With your support, we were proud to contribute to their inspiring work.
Transforming Lives for Good (TLG)
Transforming Lives for Good is a national charity supporting children facing difficult starts in life. Since 1999 they have helped over 10,000 UK children find hope and a brighter future. In December 2020 we supported their Boxes of Hope campaign.
WILD Young Parents
Based in Redruth, Cornwall, WILD Young Parents has supported young families since 1992, helping them build healthy and secure lives. Our 2020 donation helped fund staff so they could continue offering online support during the pandemic.
FACES
Family and Children’s Early-help Services (FACES) supports children and parents when life becomes challenging. Established in 1986, this independent charity works within diverse local communities. During the pandemic we supported their food takeaway service.
Kinship Care
In September 2020 we supported Kinship Care, an award-winning Northern Ireland charity helping children who cannot live with their parents to grow up safely with relatives or within their extended family and community networks.
Springhead Trust
The Springhead Trust manages an environmental education and arts centre in Fontmell Magna, Dorset. Their main work provides day and residential visits for school groups, helping children learn about nature, creativity and the environment.
Chance for Childhood / Kinbu Nursery
Working with Chance for Childhood, we supported Kinbu Nursery in Accra. The project provided 170 vulnerable children under six with a safe and caring place away from the dangers of street life, offering stability and early education.
Little Life Savers
Little Life Savers teaches CPR skills to children aged nine and above for free in schools, clubs and community groups. We supported their mission to add CPR to the UK school curriculum by funding equipment and training for new groups.
Cornwall Wildlife Trust
Frugi donated over £230,000 to Cornwall Wildlife Trust to support their Living Seas marine conservation programme and dolphin protection work, helping safeguard marine wildlife and Cornwall’s beautiful coastline.
Kicks Count – Finding a Rainbow
In 2018 we partnered with Kicks Count on their special Finding A Rainbow project. The initiative provides free bundles to mums-to-be who are expecting a baby following the heartbreak of a loss.
Pump Aid
Pump Aid works with communities in Malawi to improve access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene in both rural and urban areas. With Frugi’s support, two communities received vital infrastructure and health improvements.
The Sick Children’s Trust
We supported The Sick Children’s Trust and their Home from Home programme, which provides free accommodation for families whose children are receiving hospital treatment, allowing them to stay close during difficult times.
Anna’s Hope
Anna’s Hope is a leading children’s brain tumour charity in the East of England. Our donations helped fund the Anna’s Hope Therapy Team, providing specialist support to children and families.
Umbergaon Orphanage
At Umbergaon Orphanage in India, Stella cares for 37 children and adults, ensuring they can attend school and later college. With no state support, the orphanage relies entirely on donations like ours to provide stability and opportunity.
