Bought these for my 19 month old toddler (size 2-3 years), because he has a big tummy despite being tall and slim everywhere else. I wanted a nice comfortable waistband so that he isn"t wearing something that cuts into his tummy. We size up in these parsnip pants and have done for previous orders, because there is a lot of growing room in them. With the cuffs, it means that ordering up just means they"re slightly baggier but they still sit at the foot. He looks absolutely adorable in his little "harem" pants as he waddles around. The quality is great, nice and warm and fluffy inside. Note: if you buy the matching top (it"s a long sleeve navy top with white flecks, with embroidered designs on of a unicorn, dragon, star and toadstool), size up extra in that too. The size 2-3 years (to match the 2-3 years trousers) is too tight on him which is a shame - I think the top is designed for girls, but the bottoms for boys. His other size 2-3 years tops from elsewhere fit fine. "
