Frugi x Born Bizzy: Reusable Colouring Mats for Little Artists
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Born Bizzy to bring two playful Frugi designs to life on their reusable colouring mats. Packed with fun characters and colourful pens, they’re made for little artists on the go, from car journeys and restaurant meals to creative afternoons at home.
Inspired by the creatures in our Autumn Winter 2026 collection, Tales from the Glen, each mat features drawings to colour, animals and numbers to trace, animal names to discover and a space to add their artist name. Once they’re finished, simply flip the mat over for a blank canvas to doodle, draw, write or even challenge the grown-ups to a game of noughts and crosses! Made to be used again and again, all you need is water to wipe them clean.

A collaboration made for little imaginations
Jeni, Frugi’s Product and Brand Director, shares why she loves the Born Bizzy colouring mats:
"The minute I saw the Born Bizzy reusable colouring mat, my son and I had the pens out and were colouring with huge smiles on our faces. That's exactly the reaction we hope Frugi's colourful products bring. It's a brilliant screen-free activity for big and small folk, and it's so portable and mess-free that keeping children entertained on car journeys, trips and days out becomes much easier, and much more fun to do together! We even turned it over and played noughts and crosses on the back. And now we are going to have two featuring Frugi characters. Dream come true!”.
Hannah and Rachael, Born Bizzy’s Co-Founders, share why bringing the two brands together has been so special:
"As mums ourselves, we've always loved the Frugi brand, so collaborating with them has been a real pinch-me moment. Born Bizzy was created to solve a simple problem every parent knows well - how to keep little hands busy without packing the kitchen sink! Together we've created two unique designs that are full of colour, creativity and playful characters. They're really the perfect blend of everything both our brands stand for - making family life a little brighter, a little easier and a lot more fun."
Looking after your mat
These colouring mats are made to last, and the best way to help them last as long as possible is to take good care of them!
- Colour on a flat surface
- Wipe clean with a drop of water
- For more stubborn stains, wash in warm soapy water
- Store in your drawstring bag
- Pop your mat in the dishwasher on the top rack for a good clean!
- It’s recommended that you clean your mat after each use, as soon as you’ve finished using it - it’s the perfect job for a little one to help with!
- Keep the lid on your pens!
