Our clothes aren’t just outfits; they’re companions for adventure - made to be cherished, then passed on for more playtime with a new friend.

RECYCLE YOUR FRUGI

Is your little one’s Frugi Circular Clothing worn out beyond repair or passing on? If it has a Recycle Me QR code, follow these steps:

How to Recycle:

- For UK customers: Request a free returns label by completing our Recycle Me form at welovefrugi.com/recycleme.

- For customers outside the UK: Please send your item(s) to:

Returns: RECYCLE ME, Frugi, Unit 2 & 2A Lodge Way, Indian Queens Industrial Estate, St Columb, Cornwall, TR9 6TF

1. Please package the item securely. Ensure it is clean and that any added repairs or patches have been removed, so the garment is returned in its original fabric state, ready for recycling.

2. Once we have collected a minimum of 325 recyclable products, we will pass the items on to our partner, LMB, who uses textile to textile recyclers to convert them into new fabrics, helping reduce textile waste.

And to show our appreciation for you joining us on our circular journey, we'll send you a small thank you too!

IMPORTANT:

Only send back items that can no longer be worn, repaired, or passed on

If you’ve made repairs or customisations, please remove them before sending—garments must be in their original state to be processed correctly

With your help, we aim to recycle

pieces from our Spring Summer 2025 Recycle Me collection in the years to come, diverting them from landfills once worn out. Thank you!

A Circular Journey

104 STYLES FROM OUR NEW SS25 RANGE WILL BE RECYCLABLE!

When garments in our  Circular Collection reach the end of their wearable life, they don’t have to go to landfill. Instead, customers can send them back to us. No matter how many times they’ve been passed on, the final owner can simply scan the label to find out how to recycle them.

Once we have collected a minimum of 325 recyclable products to ensure efficient processing, we pass them to our specialist partner, LMB, who works with textile to textile recyclers to convert them into new fabrics, helping to reduce textile waste.

Leading the Way in Circular Fashion

We first partnered with the Circular Textiles Foundation to upskill our team, launching the world’s first certified circular children's wear collection in 2023. Since then, we’ve brought this expertise in-house, with our skilled internal team now leading the design of even more recyclable styles.

In 2024, we were honoured to win the Drapers Sustainability Award for Best Circularity Initiative, recognising our commitment to reducing textile waste and pioneering innovation in this space.

Why Circular Clothing Matters

Most clothing recycling today involves re-use or downcycling, where garments are shredded into textile scraps for padding, insulation, and filling. While better than landfill, these materials still eventually become waste.

Our Circular Collection is different. These garments are designed specifically to be recycled back into fabric, keeping valuable materials in circulation and preserving our planet’s natural resources.

Did You Know?

We've been part of the Quantifying Circularity Project, working with the Circular Textiles Foundation, the University of the Arts London, and WRAP. By analysing our product data, the team explored the potential carbon savings of designing for recycling. If all the circular garments from our AW23 and SS24 collections were recycled, we could reduce carbon emissions by 31% compared to non-recyclable garments.

AROUND 300,000 TONNES OF USED CLOTHES ARE BURNED OR BURIED IN LANDFILL EACH YEAR1

LINEAR & CIRCULAR MANUFACTURING

WHAT’s the difference between linear & circular manufacturing?

In linear manufacturing – which is used most in the fashion industry – a virgin material like cotton is made into a product such as a top. Once this top becomes worn out it ultimately ends up in landfill as it has not been designed and created with an end-of-life solution in mind.

Whereas in circular manufacturing, the cotton is still initially harvested and created into a top, but instead of being thrown away when worn out, its fabric is designed and created to live on by being recycled into new yarn and fabrics. This fabric can then be used to create new products, such as another top, that can be worn and recycled again and again in a circular life cycle.

The earth and its precious resources aren't limitless, so this way, we don't lose the materials it takes to make our clothes, and we can put them back into what we will use for years to come!

We believe in honest and transparent communication. While we are making big strides toward circularity, textile recycling has limitations, and we acknowledge that sustainability is a continuous journey rather than a final destination.
